Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Group (Medgulf) on Tuesday announced starting the official operations in the UAE.

The company will start providing health insurance products and services, after it was licenced in December 2016, according to Alkhaleej newspaper.

Medgulf is currently negotiating providing other insurance services with the competent authorities, general manager Shady Al Mahameed said.

The Bahraini company is aiming to provide the obligatory health insurance products to Dubai residents, after fulfilling all the conditions and requirements set by the Dubai Health Authority, Al Mahameed added.
