Off-plan sales reach AED 870m at Cityscape Global Dubai
the first phase of Aldar Properties’ Water's Edge saw sales worth $109 million (AED 400 million)

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Land Department (DLD) on Thursday announced that off-plan sales at Cityscape Global in Dubai reached AED 870 million.

Property Monitor, a smart platform in the UAE’s real estate sector, said that 617 off-plan sale deals were closed during the week after the Cityscape Global event.

The DLD forecast that sales will continue in the next few months, based on the success of the exhibition.

Many exhibitors revealed successful deals during Dubai’s Cityscape Global, especially Azizi Developments, which sold all units in the first phase of its AED 12 billion waterfront project.

Meanwhile, the first phase of Aldar Properties’ Water's Edge saw sales worth $109 million (AED 400 million).

The exhibition also saw the launch of a range of projects by real estate developers such as Nakeel, which announced AED 4 billion projects. 

Exhibitors in Cityscape Global Dubai made AED 22 million in profits during the exhibition, according to a study by Informa, the event organiser.
