Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Investments’ managing director and CEO Khalid Bin Kalban on Monday said he expects his company will issue $3 million in sukuk in the coming period.

Some investment funds will participate in the issue of those sukuk, bin Kalban told CNBC Arabiya on the sidelines of the Dubai Investment Week 2017.

The Dubai-listed company currently has AED 8 billion in underway projects, AED 4 billion of which are in the industrial sector, the top official revealed.

Dubai Investments has new investments in educational projects and hospitals, bin Kalban told the news channel.

Earlier on Monday, Dubai Investment Week 2017 commenced. The event is organised by the Dubai FDI and tackles the trend and opportunities in foreign direct investments (FDI) in the industrial sector.
