Mubasher: The profits registered by the Bahraini companies are expected to increase by 21%, on an annual basis, during the third quarter of 2017, according to a recent report issued by the Securities & Investment Company (SICO).
The report highlighted the growth in Aluminium Bahrain’s (Alba) profitability during Q3-17 which is expected to endorse the income statements of the Bahraini firms.
Alba has achieved a jump of 60% in profits in Q3-17 compared to Q2-17, while it recorded a leap of 98% in profits on an annual basis to total BHD 28.3 million.
SICO projected that Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) is forecast to record an annual rise of 22% in earnings to BHD 14.5 million during Q3-17.
Meanwhile, Zain is likely to report a growth of 58% to BHD 1.5 million in Q3-17 compared to BHD 948,000 in Q2-17, with an annual increase of 25%.
