Mubasher: The commissioners council at the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) in Kuwait has approved Kuwait Food – Americana’s request to voluntarily withdraw from Boursa Kuwait.

Americana’s stocks that are available for trading represent 6.57% of the total stocks listed on Boursa Kuwait, according to a bourse statement issued on Sunday.

It is worth noting that Americana has a capital worth KWD 40.2 million distributed on 402 million shares at a par value of 100 fils each.

In early June, Americana’s ordinary general meeting has approved the optional delisting from Boursa Kuwait based on the recommendation of its board members.

Before closing Sunday’s session, Americana’s stock fell by 11.57% at KWD 1.751.
