Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s session in the red zone; the price index retreated 0.08% or 5.4 points to reach 6,617.14 points.

By 9:32am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down 0.01% and 0.06%, respectively.

The basic materials segment led decliners with 0.51%, followed by the telecom sector which lost 0.06% as it was dragged by the 0.25% fall of Viva.

Meanwhile, the financial services segment topped gainers with 0.09%, backed by Ekttitab which rose by 10.5% to be the top winner.

Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity stood at KWD 994,000 after 5.65 million shares were exchanged through 290 transactions.

Dropping 1%, Human Soft Holding posted the highest trading value of around KWD 276,500.

In terms of volume, Investors was the most active stock on which 1.26 million shares were traded, down 0.53%.
