Cairo – Mubasher: Edita Food Industries has opened its second production line at the new “E08” factory in Polaris International Industrial Parks located in 6th October city.

The new line has started operation, in line with launching the new TODO donuts, the firm added in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

The food industries firm indicated that its new product strengthens the company’s expansion plan and its position in leading the snacks market in Egypt.

The company did not mention any further details on the new production line’s investments.

In July 2017, Edita announced that its new factor “E08”, which has 11 production lines, started operation.

Edita achieved profits of EGP 7.05 million in the three months ended June 2017, versus EGP 48.09 million in the prior-year period.
