Mubasher: Al Rawda Regional Real Estate Co has raised its ownership equity in Jiyad Holding Co, formerly known as Zima Holding, to 15.04% from 14.36%.

Boursa Kuwait clarified that following this raise, Al Rawda has become the largest shareholder in Jiyad, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.

The ownership of Jiyad includes Al Rawda with a stake of 15.04%, Al Kairat National Co with a 14.3% stake, Al Khairat for Shares and Real Estate Co with an equity of 13%, and Sama Almadinah for Real Estate Investment with a stake of 12.09%.

Jiyad has a paid-up capital of KWD 10 million; however, the company has executed a rights issue to raise the capital to KWD 35 million distributed on 350 million shares.
