Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Telecommunications Group (ETISALAT) on Wednesday announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2017.

The financial results showed a 26% rise to AED 2.82 billion ($767 million) in the Q3-17 profits, as compared to AED 2.24 billion in Q3-16, according to a bourse statement.

The revenues declined 3% to AED 12.89 billion from AED 13.24 billion in the year-ago period.

Operational expenses dropped 4.33% to AED 8.02 billion, against 8.38 billion in Q3-16.

On the other hand, the total profits of the group during the first nine months of 2017 rose 4.4% to AED 7.53 billion versus 7.22 billion in the year-ago period.

However, the nine-month revenues dropped 3.13% to AED 38.18 billion, from AED 39.42 billion in the same period of 2016.
