Banque Saudi Fransi is pleased to announce its intention to call (redeem) its 2012 sukuk, in full, bearing Tadawul symbol: 1051 - BSF Sukuk, at their face value (100% of issue price) at the end of year 5 (18 December 2017).
The sukuk issued on 18 December 2012 for a total value of SAR 1.9 billion (1,900 sak - each with a face value of SAR 1 million) had an original maturity of seven years (due 2019) and are callable in five years (on 18 December 2017). Regulatory approval has already been obtained in this regard.
The redemption amount along with the periodic distribution amount (profit for the current period ending 18 December 2017) will be transferred by BSF to the Sukukholders Agent and Distributing Agent then to the Sukukholders accounts on 18 December 2017 based on their respective holdings as of December 11, 2017 (start of the sukuk trading suspension period).
