Riyadh – Mubasher: JPMorgan is holding discussions with some Saudi companies to explore the possibility of listing them in the international stock markets, after the planned initial public offering (IPO) of 5% stake of Saudi Aramco, Reuters on Tuesday reported.

“If you want these companies to grow, they must have access to international capital markets,” Daniel Pinto, the CEO of JPMorgan’s investment bank said.

JPMorgan is among the banks who were appointed as financial advisors for Aramco’s IPO.

JPMorgan plans to raise the number of its Saudi employees by 30% from 70 employees currently during the coming two or three years.
