Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Tayyar Travel Group’s stock decreased 6% to reach SAR 25.3, registering its lowest level in 12 months or since 18 October 2016 by 12:13 am KSA time on Wednesday on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
In the meantime, the benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 0.7$ or 48 points to reach 6,883 points.
On Monday, the Group stated that the chairman, Muhammad Saleh Hassan Alkhalil received a message of support from the Saudi government to the firm.
Al Tayyar added that it is committed to continue providing their services for clients after media sources reported that Nasser bin Aqeel Al Tayyar, the non-executive member was among the arrested persons who were accused of corruption.
On Saturday, the Saudi government arrest arrested 11 princes, as well as current and former ministers after accusing them of corruption.
