Mubasher: Auto sales in China increased 2.7% year-on-year to reach 2.3 million cars in October, registering a rise for the sixth month in a row supported by a growth in selling new models, data released by China’s Passenger Car Association (CPCA), on Wednesday showed.

Deliveries rose 1.4% to reach 18.9 million vehicles in the first 10 months of 2017 from the same period in 2016.

General Motor’s sales in China jumped 10.7% to reach 382,700 cars in October, supported by the sales growth of brands such as Baojun and Cadillac.

Similarly, Honda’s sales rose by 14% to reach 132,800 cars last month.
