Mubasher: Investments by companies in the United Kingdom is expected to continue rising at a slow pace over the next year that will further decline in the next two years, according to a recent report by the Bank of England.

A survey of 375 firms carried out by the Bank of England noted that economic uncertainty was the biggest drag on investment plans, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday.

“Expectations about future trading arrangements and other factors related to the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union, such as concerns around the future availability of overseas labor, were also reported to be restraining investment,” the report stated.
