Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) on Thursday requested that Emirati banks provide more information regarding the accounts of 19 Saudi citizens.
The accounts in question involve several of the names announced by the Saudi government as part of its anti-corruption crackdown, Reuters reported.
“One of those is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of international investment firm Kingdom Holding Company (KHC),” the international news agency added.
Earlier in November, the Saudi government announced arresting 11 princes, and several former and current ministers, in line with anti-corruption measures.
