Dubai – Mubasher: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai inaugurated Phase I of the Parallel Roads Project at the Godolphin vicinity.
The project’s two phases collectively cost AED 1 billion, according to the RTA’s statement.
The 108 kilometre-project comprises bridges and surface junctions at the intersections of parallel roads, the RTA added.
“The project is undertaken as part of RTA’s master plan for upgrading the network of roads, bridges, crossings and tunnels to accommodate the growing traffic movement and improve mobility throughout Dubai,” said Mattar Al Tayer, RTA’s director general and chairman.
