Mubasher: The US and China signed commercial agreements at a value of $250 billion, on the sidelines of the US’s president, Donald Trump visit to the Asian country.

“The deals pointed to a strong, vibrant bilateral economic relationship between the two countries,” William Zarit, the chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China said.

On Thursday, the two nations signed another agreement at a value of $253.4 billion which includes cooperating in a gas project in Alaska at a value of $43 billion, and a shale gas demonstration project at $83.7 billion.

China will buy from Boeing Co. jetliners at $37 billion, mobile phone chipsets from Qualcomm at $12 billion, soybeans, vehicles, and parts from General Motors Co. at $1.6 billion, and from Ford Motor Co. for at $11.7 billion.
