Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 0.16% or 7.16 points on Thursday, registering its first increase in five sessions, to close at 4,376.22 points.

The real estate sector pushed the ADX higher, after increasing by 0.51% as Manazel Real Estate, Eshraq Properties, and Aldar Properties went up 1.96%, 1.43%, and 0.45%, respectively.

The energy sector levelled up 1.66% after Dana Gas rose 2.82%.

The ADX’s trading volume declined to 74.9 million shares from 113.94 million shares on Wednesday, while the market’s turnover dropped to AED 156.2 million versus AED 202.42 million in the previous session.

Dana Gas ranked first on the ADX in terms of trading volume, with 22.2 million traded shares, while Etisalat topped the market in terms of liquidity, generating AED 29.05 million through 186 transactions.
