Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Airlines (SAUDIA) on Sunday announced that the number of passengers surged 12% to reach 2.4 million guests during October.

Guests’ number increased to reach 27 million from January until October, the Saudi authority’s statement added.

During October there were 16,300 flights, of which 10,000 internal flights, and 6,300 international flights.

About 4,060 flights left from King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh, and 3,870 flights left from King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah, the report noted.

The number of guests who completed their flights’ procedures surged 89% to reach 278,000 guests in October 2017, compared to October 2016.

The users of smart devices applications to book their flights increased 87% to reach 2.4 million guests in October 2017, compared to October 2016.
