Dubai – Mubasher: Aviation Lease and Finance (Alafco) has signed the final contracts of purchasing 20 airplanes from Boeing Company.

The deal is valued at $2.2 billion and was finalised on the sidelines of the second day of Dubai Airshow 2017.

The new airplanes will be delivered starting from 2020, the sales chief for the Commercial Airplanes unit at Boeing, Ihssane Mounir, said.

It is worth noting that Alafco has achieved KWD 32.82 million profits in the fiscal year ended on 30 September 2017 compared to KWD 14.07 million in the previous year.

At the stock level, Alafco closed Monday’s session at 358 fils.
