ENOC Group expands aviation footprint by 70% over 5yrs

Dubai – Mubasher: ENOC Group on Monday said its global presence in the aviation sector has grown internationally by as much as 70% over the past five years.

In 2017, ENOC expanded its jet fuel supply to India, Djibouti, Egypt, Mauritius, Georgia, Thailand, and Italy.

Following the addition, ENOC Group’s international expansions now include 143 airports across 23 countries.

“As a national oil company, we are committed to support our country’s ambitions of being a leading player in the aviation sector. Over the years, we have continuously enhanced our partnerships with airlines, suppliers and airports, which enable us to supply over 3 million US Gallons of jet fuel daily,” said ENOC Group CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi in a statement.

He added that the company’s recent network expansions will enable it to “continue maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational excellence, both locally and internationally.”

The UAE-based group’s local aviation operations entail over 55% of Dubai International Airport’s jet fuel requirements. This is done through ENOC’s two pipelines linking its storage terminals in Jebel Ali to the airport, the statement indicated.
