Dubai - Mubasher: The total value of transactions in the first and second days of the Dubai Airshow 2017 amounted to AED 84.8 billion ($23.1 billion).

Records show that the second day saw deals worth AED 14 billion ($3.8 billion), while the deals of the first day recorded AED 71 billion ($19.34 billion).

Aviation Lease and Finance Company (ALAFCO) signed on Monday the final contract to purchase 20 Boeing 737-8 MAX jets, with a total value of $2.2 billion ($8.1 billion).

The UAE Armed Forces inked eight deals worth AED 3.27 billion in day two of the event, raising the total value of the transactions to AED 9.8 billion.

Air Arabia has signed a lease agreement for six Airbus A321neo Long Range aircrafts in a deal valued at AED 2.796 billion.
