Mubasher: Combined Group Contracting achieved a slight rise of 0.3% in profits to KWD 903,000 ($2.99 million) in the third quarter of 2017 compared to nearly KWD 900,430 ($2.98 million) in the same period a year ago.

During the first nine months of 2017, earnings increased to KWD 1.95 million compared to KWD 1.12 million in the same period last year; a year-on-year gain of 74.1%, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.

The increase in profits is attributed to the gross profit from the mother company’s projects when compared to the same period last year.

It is worth noting that Combined Group reported a surge of 378.2% in profits to KWD 1.05 million in the first half of 2017 compared to nearly KWD 219,570 in the same period in the prior year.
