Dubai – Mubasher: The MSCI Emerging Market (MSCI EM) index's semi-annual review resulted in the addition of Dubai Investments to the UAE’s Global Standard Index.

The index added Drake and Scull International (DSI) to the UAE’s Global Small Cap Index, according to an official statement.

The MSCI EM index represents a reference for foreign investors according to which they take their investment decisions, as they focus on the added companies’ stocks and ignore the deleted ones.

The emergence markets index incorporates markets of 23 countries, make up 10% of the global market capitalisation and include three Arab countries: Egypt, UAE, and Qatar,

The MSCI EM index adds countries based on liquidity, investment facilities, and transparency, and undergoes a semi-annual review in May and November.
