Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the green zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 0.26% or 17.76 points, reaching 6,979.28 points.
TASI’s trading volume amounted to 192.14 million shares on Tuesday, against 186.26 million shares on Monday, whereas liquidity decreased to SAR 3.26 billion ($870 million), from SAR 3.47 billion ($926.4 million).
The consumer durables and apparel, materials, telecommunication services, and banks sectors went up 3.20%, 0.66%, 0.39%, and 0.21%, respectively.
On the other hand, the utilities sector dropped 1.03%, and real estate management and development sector tumbled 0.87%.
Anaam International Group’s stock topped TASI’s gainers after surging 10%, closing at SAR 12.76, whereas Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock retreated 9.95% to reach SAR 16.02.
In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market edged up 0.07% or 2.13 points to reach 3,006.76 points.
Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock increased 9.49%, closing Tuesday at SAR 15, whereas Development Works Food’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer after declining 4.43% to reach SAR 75.50.
