TASI slumps 67 pts, Nomu near stable at Wednesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday in the red zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 0.96% or 66.93 points to reach 6,912.35 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 208.4 million shares on Wednesday, against 192.14 million shares on Tuesday, while liquidity increased to SAR 3.3 billion ($884.27 million), from SAR 3.26 billion ($870 million).

The real estate management and development, consumer services, telecommunication services, materials, and banks sectors levelled down 4.46%, 1.49%, 1.02%, 0.66%, and 0.64%, respectively.

On the other hand, transportation sector grew 1.78%, and retailing sector rose edged up 0.32%.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock was TASI's worst performenr after dropping 9.9% to close Wednesday at SAR 8.10, whereas Anaam International Group’s stock surged 9.87% to reach SAR 14.02.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU slipped 0.01% or 0.16 points, reaching 3,006.6 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock tumbled 4.07%, reaching SAR 10.36, whereas the stock of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries went up 10.68% to reach SAR 57.
