Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday in the green zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched up 0.02% or 1.11 points, reaching 6,913.46 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 203.89 million shares on Thursday, against 208.4 million shares on Wednesday, while liquidity decreased to SAR 3.15 billion, from SAR 3.30 billion.

The real estate management and development sector went up 0.7%, followed by the capital goods with 0.6%, banks with 0.44%, and telecommunication services with 0.4%.

On the flipside, the insurance, consumer durables and apparel, and materials sectors tumbled 1.5%, 1.1%, and 0.1%, respectively.

Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes’ stock was TASI’s best performer after surging 10%, whereas Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock retreated 9.9%.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock led TASI in terms of trading volume after 84.88 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 648.17 million, to close Thursday at SAR 7.32.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market declined 0.51% or 15.25 points to reach 2,991.35 points.

Nomu’s traded volume reached 86,380 shares on Thursday, against 49,120 shares on Wednesday, while its turnover grew to SAR 1.15 million, from SAR 682,870.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock fell 4.3%, whereas Development Works Food’s stock jumped 12.9%.

The stock of Arab Sea Information System acquired Nomu in terms of trading volume 44,460 shares were exchanged, with a liquidity of SAR 445,460.
