Mubasher: The passengers’ movement rate at the Kuwait International Airport (KIA) grew by 26% during October 2017, according to a recent statement issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait.

The statement stated that 1.058 million passengers travelled through the airport in October, compared to around 840,000 in the same period last year.

In October, the number of arriving passengers increased to reach 560,000 from 458,000 in the same month in 2016.

Departing passengers reached 499,500 in October, compared to 382,300 in the same period a year ago, according to the statement.

The Kuwaiti Civil Aviation noted that the total aircraft movement that have been operated from and to the KIA reached 9,355 flights in October.
