ADX marks 6 session-low Sunday
The real estate sector levelled down 1.36%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index lost 1.12% or 48.27 points to close at 4,327.58 points on Sunday, recording its sixth successive decline.

Dana Gas dropped 4.17%, dragging the energy sector down to shed 4.25% on the back of the London court ruling in favour of sukuk holders in the $700 million sukuk case.

Dana stated earlier that it would appeal the court ruling, labelling it as “flawed”.

The telecommunications sector and its only stock Etisalat lost 2.71% each.

The real estate sector levelled down 1.36%, after RAK Properties, Eshraq, and Aldar Properties sank 1.35%, 1.37%, and 1.35%, respectively.

Dana Gas was the most actively-traded stock in terms of both volume and value, with 30.3 million traded shares and a turnover of AED 25.8 million through 163 transactions.

The ADX’s trading volume increased to 54.5 million shares from 32.1 million shares on Thursday, while the market’s trading value rose to AED 91.9 million through 814 transactions, compared to AED 87.8 million in the previous session.
