TASI closes at lowest level since mid-June
TASI closed Sunday’s trading session at 6,872.16 points

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading session at a six-month low.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.6%, losing 41.30 points, and closing at 6,872.16 points, its lowest level since 15 June.

Traded values declined to SAR 2.54 billion, the lowest turnover since 26 October, while traded volumes decreased to 146.53 million shares, the lowest since 29 October.

As for the market sectors’ performance, 18 sector indices closed in red, led by media and publishing with 4.2%, and retail with 2.9%.

Telecom, banks, and materials all closed in red, slipping 0.9%, 0.21%, and 0.2%, respectively.

On the other hand, only food retail and pharmaceuticals ended the session in the green zone, gaining 0.6%, and 0.4%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel market ended today in red, for the third session in row, with the main index losing 0.32% or 9.57 points, and closing to 2,981.78 points.

In the parallel market, traded volumes amounted to 51,180 shares with a total turnover of SAR 671,410, down from 86,380 shares and SAR 1.15 million on Thursday.
