Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session 0.34% or 21.5 points higher to reach 6,283.93 points.

By 9:50am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.21% and 0.23%, respectively.

The consumer services segment topped gainers with 1.71%, backed by Muntazahat which went up 11.4%.

The financial services sector edged up 0.9% in line with the 20% rise of Amwal to be the top winner.

Meanwhile, the real estate segment led decliners with 0.14%, dragged by Ajial which lost 5.1%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 3.5 million after 16.2 million shares were traded through 760 transactions.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 1.21 million, up 0.41%.

Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 4.67 million shares were exchanged, rising 0.62%.
