Mubasher: Kuwait has registered a trade surplus of 64.4% with Japan in October, on an annual basis, according to the monthly report issued by the Japanese finance ministry.

The Kuwait-Japan trade surplus increased to 32.14 billion Japanese Yen ($286 million) in October 2017 from 19.55 billion Japanese Yen ($174 million) in the same period last year.

On a monthly basis, the trade surplus between Kuwait and Japan shrank by 35.7% in October.

Kuwait’s imports to Japan increased by 25.1% year-on-year to 45.68 billion Japanese Yen ($406.6 million) in October 2017.
