Mubasher: The Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) in Kuwait reported an increase of 1.43% in inflation during October 2017 compared to the same month in the prior year.

The country’s inflation rose to 113.1 points in October 2017 from 111.5 points in the same period a year ago, according to the CSB’s statement.

On an annual basis, entertainment and culture topped eleven rising groups in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) with 5.73%, followed by the goods and diversified services with 3.8%.

Meanwhile, the housing services group was the only decliner in the CPI with 0.25% in October, the CSB’s statement added.
