TASI, Nomu end Tuesday down
The pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, telecommunication services, materials, and banks sectors fell 2.5%, 1.1%, 0.8%, 0.33%, and 0.3%, respectively

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Tuesday in the red zone after declining 0.38% or 25.91 points to reach 6,778.32 points, registering its lowest level in one year, or since 22 November 2016 trading session.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 130.83 million shares on Tuesday, against 126.63 million shares on Monday, whereas liquidity fell to SAR 2.25 billion, from SAR 2.47 billion.

The pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, telecommunication services, materials, and banks sectors levelled down 2.5%, 1.1%, 0.8%, 0.33%, and 0.3%, respectively.

Middle East Healthcare Co’s (MEAHCO) stock led TASI’s losers with 5.7%, whereas Saudi Printing and Packaging’s stock was the best performer after jumping 9.9%.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock topped TASI in terms of traded volume after 40.32 million shares were exchanged, with a turnover of SAR 314.99 million, to close Tuesday’s session at SAR 7.87.

In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark of the Nomu-Parallel Market went down 0.86% or 25.50 points, reaching 2,946.62 points.

Nomu’s trading volume amounted to 44,290 shares on Tuesday, against 215,670 shares on Monday, while liquidity slid to SAR 668,260, from SAR 2.14 million.

The stocks of Raydan Co, and Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries tumbled 1.7%, and 1.4%, respectively, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock rose 4.9%.

Raydan Co’s stock was Nomu’s most active stock after 12,780 shares were exchanged, generating SAR 179,460, to close at SAR 14.10.
