TASI surges 39 pts, Nomu drops at Wednesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 0.57% or 38.80 points to 6,817.12 points.

By 10:49 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 31.02 million shares through 16,650 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 604.26 million.

The media, utilities, telecommunication services, materials, and banks sectors increased 2.5%, 1.5%, 0.7%, 0.6%, and 0.1%, respectively.

Makkah Construction and Development’s stock led TASI’s gainers with 5.3%, whereas Saudi Airlines Catering Co.’s stock decreased 1.4%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, went down 0.12% or 3.66 points to 2,942.96 points.

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock fell 4.2%, followed by Arab Sea Information System’s stock with 0.1%, whereas the stocks of Al-Kathiri Holding Company, and Al-Omran Industrial Trading grew 4.9% and 3.5%, respectively.
