Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the benchmark price index edged up 0.11% or 7.1 points to reach 6,236.27 points.

By 10:10am Kuwait time, the weighted index reached 394.89 points, while the Kuwait-15 index retreated 0.05%.

The consumer goods segment topped gainers with 0.61%, backed by Danah Al Safat which rose 3.55%.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector led decliners with 0.3%, dragged by Mena Real Estate which lost 11.33% to be the top loser, after it resumed trading on Thursday.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 2.4 million after 12.7 million shares were exchanged through 820 transactions.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of about KWD 568,120.

Investors was the most active stock on which nearly 874,520 shares were traded, down 0.59%.
