Mubasher: Employment in the euro zone soared in November, registering its highest level in 17 years, according to the data of Purchasing Managers’ Index, IHS Markit Flash Eurozone PMI.

Eurozone PMI Composite Output Index hit 57.5 points in November, compared to 56 points in October, registering its highest increase since 79 months, the data added.

“Jobs are being created at the fastest rate since the dot-com boom, yet despite this increase in operating capacity firms are struggling to meet demand,” Chris Williamson, Chief Business Economist at IHS Markit stated.

“The message from the latest Eurozone PMI is clear, business is booming. Growth kicked higher in November to put the region on course for its best quarter since the start of 2011,” Williamson added.
