Dubai - Mubasher: The Middle East has registered $765.8 billion worth of exports and imports totalling $665.2 billion during 2016, according to a report by the World Trade Organization (WTO) issued on Monday.
The region remained a major trade partner for the world, despite the drop in oil prices, the report noted.
Middle Eastern exports recorded its highest growth due to the flourishing air transport and information technology sectors during 2016 and 2017, the report indicated.
