TASI ends Wednesday in red, Nomu rises
The real estate management and development sector rose 1.74% and media sector inched up 0.88%.

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Wednesday 0.41% ,or 28.95 points, lower, reaching 7,094.11 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 250.6 million shares on Wednesday, against 298.24 million shares on Tuesday, while liquidity tumbled to SAR 4.2 billion ($1.12 billion), from SAR 4.77 billion ($1.27 billion).

The utilities, commercial and professional services, banking, materials, and telecommunication services sectors levelled down 9.48%, 1.02%, 0.38%, 0.21%, and 0.18%, respectively.

On the other hand, the real estate management and development sector rose 1.74% and media sector inched up 0.88%.

The Saudi Electricity Company’s (SEC) stock retreated 9.86% to SAR 22.94, whereas Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock jumped 9.9%, reaching SAR 13.66 to lead the bourse in terms of trading volume and value.

In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, went up 1.15%, or 35 points, to 3,066.56 points.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock grew 3.2%, reaching SAR 20 to top Nomu in terms of trading volume and value, whereas Development Works Food’s stock fell 2.03% to SAR 62.60.
