Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt is suggesting to Ethiopia and Sudan calling in international experts to help settle the dispute over the under-construction Ethiopian Renaissance dam project on the Nile River.
Egypt has reportedly suggested involving an international body such as the World Bank.
Ministers from Egypt and Ethiopia met on Tuesday to try to resolve a disagreement over the wording of a report on the environmental impact of the $4-billion Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, as reported by Reuters.
The negotiations failed to reach a breakthrough, according to Sameh Shoukry, the Egyptian minister of foreign affairs.
The Ethiopian foreign minister, Workneh Gebeyehu told reporters that his country is looking for a win-win situation, but did not comment on the Egyptian proposal.
