Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has maintained interest rates, according to an official statement.

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has decided in its meeting on Thursday, to keep Overnight Deposit and Lending rates at 18.75% and 19.75%, respectively.

The average overnight EGP Interbank rate is still at 18.974%, while the main open market operation fixed rate will be maintained at 19.25%.
