KSA releases two princes detained over corruption probe
“The Saudi attorney general had not yet reached a decision on whether to release a third brother"

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian authorities have released two accused princes detained after the anti-corruption crackdown launched by the Saudi government.

Prince Faisal bin Abdullah, a former head of the Saudi Red Crescent, and Prince Mashal bin Abdullah, a previous governor of Makkah were released on Friday, an informed source told Reuters.

“The Saudi attorney general had not yet reached a decision on whether to release a third brother, Prince Turki bin Abdullah,” the source added, according to the international news agency.

Early November, Saudi security forces detained 200 persons, included princes, ministers and business leaders in the Ritz-Carlton hotel in what the Saudi government called a “crackdown on corruption”.
