Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw an upward trend on Sunday’s trading session as the price index inched up 0.07%, or 4.4 points, to 6,458.55, while the weighted index and the Kuwait-15 index went up 0.36% and 0.53%, respectively.

By 9:29 am Kuwait time, the consumer services segment edged up 0.75% on the back of Kuwait National Cinema’s (KCIN) stock which gained 5.6%.

On the other hand, the telecom segment led top decliners with a 0.6% drop, pressured by Ooredoo and Viva which fell 2.7% and 1.25% respectively.

Meanwhile, trading volume reached 29.1 million shares exchanged at a turnover of KWD 3.3 million through 845 transactions.

National Industries Group Holding (NIND), up 1.9%, posted the highest liquidity on Boursa Kuwait at KWD 470,700, while Ithmaar, up 0.41%, was the most active stock on which around 5.07 million shares were exchanged.
