Mubasher: Bread prices in Jordan are expected to increase starting from February, following the government announcement of lifting bread subsidies, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said.

Bread prices are likely to increase by an average between 65% to 100% as of February, KUNA added.

Jordan's industry, trade and supply minister, Yarub Qudah, explained that most subsidies benefit three million non-Jordanian people, while the country's total population is approximately 9.5 million.
