TASI adds 38 pts, Nomu retreats at Thursday’s close
TASI’s trading volume stood at 166.7 million shares

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 0.52%, or 37.7 points, closing the last session of the week at 7,338.04 points, registering its highest level in 81 sessions or since 18 September 2017.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 166.7 million shares, with a liquidity of SAR 3.03 billion.

The transportation sector levelled up 1.01%, followed by telecommunication services with 0.91%, banks with 0.84%, and materials with 0.17%.

On the flipside, the utilities sector went down 0.33% and insurance edged down 0.09%.

The stocks of Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development and Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical (Petro Rabigh) were TASI’s best performers with 5.6% and 4.8%, respectively, whereas City Cement and Advanced Petrochemical Company stocks’ fell 2.6% and 2.05%.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, decreased 0.56%, or 16.9 points, to 3,019.75 points.

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock declined 5.05%, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock increased 1.4%.
