Mubasher: European stocks rose on Tuesday as companies continue diclosing their financial results and investors are waiting for important economic data.

By 08:34 am GMT, the Stoxx 600 index grew by 0.28% to 398.49, while the UK’s FTSE 100 went up 0.18% to 7,783.11 ahead of the consumer and producer price indexes data due later in the day.

Meanwhile, Germany’s DAX jumped 0.6% to 13,279.70 amid signs of progress seen in forming a new coalition government, and France’s CAC 40 increased 0.23% to 5,522.24 after data showed that the French government budget deficit stood at its lowest level since 2008.

The euro last fell by 0.29% against the US dollar to $1.2228, but remained strong above 1.22.
