Shurooq, Eagle Hills launch AED 2.7bn projects
Maryam Island is scheduled to be completed by Q4-19

Dubai – Mubasher: Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Eagle Hills Company on Tuesday unveiled the launch of three projects, with a total cost of more than AED 2.7 billion.

The new projects, comprising AED 2.4 billion Maryam Island, AED 120 million Palace Al Khan, and AED 160 million Kalba Waterfront, are under construction, Shurooq said in a statement.

Maryam Island is scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2019, while Kalba Waterfront and Palace Al Khan are set to be finalised in Q3-19 and Q2-20, respectively.

"We are confident that these projects will enhance the quality of the real estate sector in Sharjah and usher in a new era of development," said Mohamed Alabbar, Eagle Hills’ chairman.  

"Sharjah is witnessing a distinctive boom in its diversified economy, which has been attracting various investments from business leaders around the world, making the emirate a premium investment destination for tourism and trade, Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Shurooq’s chairperson, commented.
