Mubasher: UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said that his country will save more than GBP 350 million every week after the Brexit.

The country will then be able to spend this money on public services, the minister added in an interview published on Tuesday.

The GBP 350 million figure was a controversial issue before the 2016 referendum, which saw the majority of the British people vote in favor of pulling out of the European Union, with 52%.

The Pro-Brexit alliance was accused of spreading misinforming the general public and misusing state data by saying that it will help spend GBP 350 million a week on the state-run National Health Service (NHS).
