Cairo - Mubasher: Foreign fund managers mainly focus on real estate, education, and health sectors, according to the head of research at EFG Hermes, Ahmed Shams.

Foreign investment funds (FIFs) are concentrated on real estate and industrial sectors, with the later is currently suffering from weak energy supplies over the last three years, which indicates an opportunity for growth in the upcoming period, Shams added on the sidelines of the Egyptian Economy conference.

Meanwhile, the CEO of EFG Hermes noted that the meeting between Egypt President and representatives of FIFs means that there is a positive sentiment regarding opportunities in the Egyptian market.

President Abdelfattah El Sisi met on Tuesday with representatives of 26 regional and international investment funds, which was invited to visit Egypt by Hermes.
