TASI opens Sunday in red on blue chips, Nomu stable

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Sunday 0.22% or 16.31 points lower, registering 7,522.71 points.

By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 35.36 million shares, through 18,600 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 586.6 million.

The food and beverages, materials, telecommunication services, and banking sectors decreased 1.4%, 0.24%, 0.17%, and 0.01%, respectively.

On the other hand, the insurance sector inched up 0.66% and the consumer services sector rose 0.26%.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock fell 4.2% to SAR 9.85, whereas AXA Cooperative Insurance’s stock increased 3.52%, reaching SAR 25.35.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 3,090.97 points.

Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock went up 1.79% to SAR 12.60, whereas Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock declined 2.74% to SAR 17.02.
